What I liked about this novel....
There is nothing I can say that can top saying this was anther well written captivating novel about Mike Black by this author. I simply loved the fact that Mike and Shy marriage is strong, Ms. Jada knows that Mike will not ever be hers so she can do what she does best and that is make money. Oh yes ....Wanda is back and Bobby is doing what he does best and that is being Bobby. I loved how this author was able to bring out all about Mike's father and family. Wow, how they were so alike in mores ways than one. Now, that will be interesting to see how this saga will turn out. The only thing left to say is that we the readers will be waiting waiting for the next great installment to the Mike Black Series.

Roy Glenn is a beast with the pen. No matter if it is 200 pages or 5 pages you will not be disappointed. I loved how this was written in Mike and Shy thoughts. Like we were inside their minds. And finally Roy you have cleared up that debate a while back on Mike's true feelings about Jada. She about the money and that is ALL she will ever be. Still to early for me to decide on Mikes new family. Cant wait for the next one.
Spoiler Once again 100% greatness. I am so happy to have Wanda back in the mix. I am missing Rain though I know she made a small appearance but not enough for me. So happy Shy got her confidence back because she wasn't the same with out it. I can't believe I have to wait to hear what's going on with Bobby (aaaaaahhhhh the suspense). I am happy to have a new line of the story with his father & brothers joining the story. Keep the story going (AND DON'T KILL OFF BOBBY)
Roy Glenn has did it again! He captivates you with all the real life drama that are going on in today's relationship with his Main Characters. When you think you have it all figured out he throws a twist that keeps you on the edge of your seat anticipating more. I love how devoted the two main characters are to each other, the level of communication between a husband and a wife is on a level that we all would hope to have in a marriage. This book though dealt with the insecurities also not only between man and wife but also father and son. I can't wait for the next installment!
Another great installment to what is The Mike Black Series. Roy Glenn is one of the best authors of our time. He understands that his readers/fans are forever looking forward to the next installment in the series and he quickly fulfills our needs by giving us book after book in such short time spans. This Is Mine picks up where The Boss Wears Heels left off and ends with us wanting more once again. Roy Glenn knows how to keep us all hooked and wanting the next high that is Mike Black, Cassandra Black, Jada West or any of the many characters involved in the series.
I loved this book most cause it shows that Mr & Mrs Black has a strong foundation. Cassandra finally understand her place in her husband's heart and she can move on while still watching the hoe Jada. I love how Shy showing her own self worth in this family again. I love how Roy showed all the nay sayers that a strong woman can handle a rich man advances without getting sucked in but knows when it's time to go to her husband. This book was more about how solid Mike & Cassandra bond are then the drama. I can't wait for the next installment cause that's where we will get action.
I am a very big fan of Roy Glenn writing, I have all of his book in both paperback and kindle form and out of all of his books the Mike Black Series is my favorite I am addicted to this storyline. As always with this installment of the series I couldn't put the book down until I read it straight through and I loved everything about this installment. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the book was to short. I can't wait to per-order the next installment and I hope it will be a longer storyline this time. I recommend all of Roy Glenn books to anyone that appreciate great writing, once you read one of Roy Glenn books you will be hook for life so I recommend that if you haven't started reading the Mike Black Series you need to start one-clicking Asap.
Another excellent read in the continuing Mike Black Saga. T'his time around Roy focus is on Cassandra "Shy" Black. Cassandra finally puts her fears to rest once and for all as she states , "Michael is MINES"!! I so love this about this story and it shows her growth within herself. She understands that even when Michael thought she was dead He loved only Her....Cassandra shows she's intelligent and she wants something of her own that Michael didn't help her accomplish and she's smart enough to go after it. Even though, this Shy's story we get a glimpse into Michael dealing with his emotions of his new-found family and Jada West love how Roy show what and how he deals with it and I can't wait to see how it unfolds. Another 5***** read from Roy Glenn delivers time and time again and keep doing what you do cause you're the BEST at it MASTER OF URBAN SUSPENSE...
